This powerful opera explores the intersection of power and persecution, drawing connections between historical witch trials and contemporary political rhetoric that mirrors these forces of control and exclusion. The libretto integrates texts from both historical witchfinders and modern-day political figures, highlighting the ways in which fear and moral panic have been manipulated to control public opinion.
